Roofing work

Most calls start with a problem, often a damp patch on a bedroom ceiling or a tile found in the garden after a windy night. Our roof repairs page covers the common faults and how we fix them. When a roof has simply reached the end of its life, we strip it back and fit a new roof in tile or slate.

Flat roofs on extensions and garages have their own page, as do pitched roofs, where we cover tile and slate repairs along with leadwork.

Roofline and specialist work

Rotten fascias and sagging gutters let water into the walls long before anyone spots a leak inside. We replace them in uPVC so there is nothing left to paint. We also swap old glazed conservatory roofs for solid tiled ones, which keeps the room usable all year, and fit Velux windows in lofts and extensions.

Not sure what you need?

That is normal. Many roof problems look alike from the ground, and a damp patch might come from a slipped tile just as easily as from failed flashing. A roof inspection tells you what is actually going on before you spend anything on repairs.
